Day 2:
A calm morning in the "Seventh heaven". We woke up and dressed for the second day outing. After the breakfast from the Green Hill Hotel Pvt Ltd., we entered in to the vehicle.
Here I am giving some pictures of yesterday's Poonchola View point for your interest.

Second day's first aim was to visit a famous Balaji temple near to the valparai and to visit the Velankanni Shrine, Karamalai and both are in Akkamali route. Our vehicle passed through the roads which is passing through the tea plantations. The total area looks like a green colored canvas in front of an artist. Many companies have tea plantations there in valparai but the first one we saw in our journey was B K Birla's Sholayar and Kallyar Plantation.
After an hour we reached the parking area of the temple and from there we need to walk for min 1 Km to reach there in the temple. Photography is strictly banned and tight security is there for watching the visitors. We heard it was a private property of one tea plantation company and earlier it was only for the workers in that company. Now it is opened for tourists too.
Just behind of that temple a small children's park is there and some statues also. And a small statue of an elephant was looking nice and every one interested to take some snaps in front of that statue. So we tried for 2 or 3 snaps and got it good.
After Hindu friend's prayer the next chance for Christians. ;) Directly to Velankanny Shrine near to the Balaji temple but around 45 minutes journey. Very calm place for visiting and for pray: that is all about the church. A small water path is there in front of the church and is passing through the big and small rocks in the water path and making water flow's sound. We sat and relaxed there for a few time and then to the Valley of Aliyar dam. On the way we stopped for a tea and after in Tiger Valley.
On the way we had food and next to the Aliyar Dam. There you can sea many road side merchants and fish fry is the main item there. We had one fish fry from a local shop and the taste is not going now also. We took the ticket and entered in to the gate of Aliyar Dam. The dam offers some ideal getaways including a park, garden, aquarium, play area and a mini Theme-Park maintained by Tamil Nadu Fisheries Corporation for visitors enjoyment. The scenery is beautiful, with mountains surrounding three quarters of the reservoir. Boating is also available. By the evening we entered in to the vehicle and to Coimbatore. We planned a small shopping and dinner at Coimbatore. And then to Kannur. So its the end of our Valparai first trip. "The seventh Heaven" becoming a good memory for us.
