St. Thomas Church, Pullivazhi is a famous pilgrim in Kerala. This is situated in the side of MC Road and nearer to the Perumbavoor & Muvattu puzha. There is a grotto of St. Antony in the front of the church. The grotto is made up with concrete and glass with no opening to the outside except a glass door with lock. The exciting thing is, a plant is growing inside the grotto and any one cant found the base of the plant. The plant is like a small banyan tree (peeple tree). The authorities of the church was many times tried to destroy it by burning the plant for at least 30- 50 years. But after the complete destroy of the plant it’s again coming as the Phoenix raised from its ashes.
The plant doesn't hiding the face of the St. Antony and baby Jesus. For the head ache problems and pains the leap of the tree is very good as per the testimonials of the believers. This place is also blessed with the divine sacrifice of Sr. Rani Maria. St. Antony's Novena (Prayer) is famous which was conducting in the church.
