This is the one and only drive in beach in Kerala (District: Kannur). The Muzhappilangadu beach which stretches across 4 Kms of hard sand where we can drive our vehicles for the entire length. The beach will provide memorable moments for the visitors those who like adventures like paragliding, parasailing and microlite flights also. The advantage of this place is that, it is very near to the National Highway 66 (formerly NH17). This can be a good option for driving stunts in cars like drifting and wheeling in bikes as this is a paradise for driving along the shore. Just 100m from this beach you would find a private island, which can be reached by walk at times of low tide.

How to get there
By road: Beach is located about 15 km from Kannur and 7 km from Thalassery. Muzhappilangad beach is just a kilometre to the West of National Highway 17
By rail: Nearest railway stations are Thalassery, about 7 km; Kannur, about 16 km
By air: Nearest airport is Karipur International Airport, via Edapally - Panvel Hwy, about 102 km
